Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza Debuts Its First Texas Restaurant May 21

Free Pizzas for Blaze Pizza Fans at Frisco Location on Friday, May 22

FRISCO, TX--(Marketwired - May 18, 2015) - Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza announced today it will be heating up the Frisco pizza scene with its first-ever Texas location, opening Thursday, May 21. To celebrate the launch, Blaze will offer FREE build-your-own artisanal pizzas on Friday, May 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

Blaze Pizza is a modern-day "pizza joint" known for its custom-built artisanal pizzas, freshly made salads, blood orange lemonade and s'more pies. Each restaurant features an interactive assembly-line format that allows guests to customize one of the menu's signature pizzas or create their own, choosing from a wide selection of fresh, artisanal ingredients -- all for under $8. The generously-sized 11-inch pizzas are then sent to a blazing hot open-flame oven -- the centerpiece of the restaurant -- where dedicated pizzasmiths ensure that the thin-crust pies are fast-fire'd and ready to eat in just 180 seconds.

"We couldn't be more excited to bring Blaze Pizza to the Frisco community," said Brian Kelley, Managing Partner of Saddles Blazin LLC, a Blaze Pizza franchisee. "When it comes to pizza, Frisco expects the very best and that's exactly what we serve."

Each Blaze restaurant makes its own pizza dough from scratch daily using a recipe developed by Blaze Pizza's Executive Chef Bradford Kent ("The Pizza Whisperer"), which requires a 24-hour fermentation period to produce his signature light-as-air, crisp crust. For pizza fans with specific dietary needs, Blaze offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese.

"Blaze is redefining pizza, from the crust up," said Chef Kent. "Now guests can get an artisanal quality pizza, made exactly to their liking, without the wait. We believe this will be a game-changer in town."

Blaze Pizza is looking forward to building strong roots with members of the Frisco community. Because hand-crafted pizza deserves hand-crafted beer, Blaze will feature local draught selections, including favorites from Community Beer Company and 512 Brewing, as well as Nottingham Cellars wine on tap. The restaurant will also partner with local schools, sports clubs and other organizations to host fundraising events at Blaze, donating 20 percent of an event's proceeds back to local groups.
