ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwired - Sep 3, 2015) - Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is charging in on the Orlando scene, and today announced its newest opening at the University of Central Florida, across from the main UCF campus, at 4100 N. Alafaya Trail (near Bar Louie and Burger Fi). To celebrate, the new restaurant is offering FREE build-your-own artisanal pizza, tomorrow -- September 4th, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.
As the nation's leading fast casual artisanal pizza concept, Blaze Pizza serves up custom-built pizzas that are both fast and affordable. The restaurant features an interactive assembly-line format that allows guests to create their own pizza, choosing from a wide selection of fresh, artisanal ingredients -- all for under $8. The generously-sized 11-inch pizzas are then sent to the blazing hot open flame oven where dedicated pizzasmiths ensure that the thin-crust pies are "fast-fire'd" and ready to eat in just 180 seconds. Blaze Pizza makes its own dough from scratch using a recipe developed by critically-acclaimed Executive Chef Brad Kent ("The Pizza Whisperer"), which requires a 24-hour fermentation period to produce his signature light-as-air, crisp crust. The restaurant's menu also features freshly made salads, blood orange lemonade and s'more pies, and accommodates guests with specific dietary needs by offering gluten-free dough and vegan cheese. The new Blaze Pizza also offers a selection of wine and craft beer.

The new Orlando restaurant features a thoughtfully designed 3,100-square-foot interior, with seating for 90. Driven by its commitment to "Intelligent Choices for Our Pizzas, People & Planet," the restaurant is constructed with recycled and sustainable materials, uses eco-friendly packaging, and features energy-efficient LED lighting. Additionally many of the restaurant's unconventional design elements were inspired by the company's celebration of individual expression, including an oversized wall graphic, which was custom-built to suit the Orlando space. The new location will be open 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday with extended hours Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to midnight.
The Orlando Blaze Pizza is the ninth location for the Millennial Restaurant Group, which is developing the concept in Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. The partnership consists of James Patterson Sr., Jim Patterson II, Ulysses (Junior) Bridgeman, Wayne Albritton and Collins Cogan.
