Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza Opens Midlothian, Virginia Location Today; Will Celebrate With Free Pizza Giveaway Tomorrow

Fast-casual, build-your-own-pizza chain opens third Virginia restaurant; will offer free pizza all day on November 18

RICHMOND, VA--(Marketwired - Nov 17, 2016) - Finally, it's here! Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza, the nation's leading fast-casual, artisanal pizza concept, opens its debut location in Midlothian today -- and you're invited to get in on the fun with free pizza all day tomorrow, November 18 from 11 am to 10 pm. The restaurant is located at 12701 Stone Village Way. Anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat will be eligible for a custom-built, personal-sized pizza on the house.

Blaze Pizza is a modern day "pizza joint" that has been cultivating fanatics since it opened its first location in 2012. Each restaurant features an interactive open-kitchen format that allows guests to customize one of the menu's signature pizzas or create their own, choosing from a wide selection of carefully sourced, high-quality ingredients -- all for around $8. The generously-sized personal pizzas are then sent to a blazing hot open-flame oven -- the centerpiece of the restaurant -- where dedicated pizzasmiths ensure that the thin-crust pies are fast-fire'd and ready to eat in just 180 seconds.

The Midlothian location marks the third Blaze Pizza to open in Virginia. The concept debuted in Virginia in Williamsburg (5134 Main St.) last November and opened a location in Lynchburg (4026 Wards Rd.) in October. The Midlothian restaurant will have a 2900 square-foot interior that offers seating for 88, with an additional 20 seats on an outdoor patio. The location will be open from 11 am to 10 pm.

"Blaze offers a quick and affordable, high-quality pizza that stands out from the competition," said Bob Parsons, Franchise Partner for Blaze Pizza Virginia. "Blaze will quickly be the go-to pizza option for Midlothian area residents and our team is looking forward to serving them. Guests are invited to try us for free on November 18th to celebrate the grand opening of our Midlothian location."

Blaze Pizza's commitment to the happiness and satisfaction of every individual guest and team member has been fundamental to the concept's popularity and expansion in Virginia and beyond. Award-winning design architect Ana Henton has added several special touches to the restaurant, including an oversized wall mural featuring the Richmond skyline.

The restaurant, driven by its commitment to "Intelligent Choices for Our Pizzas, People & Planet," was constructed with recycled and sustainable materials, uses eco-friendly packaging and features energy-efficient LED lighting.

Blaze Pizza looks forward to continuing to build strong roots within the community. Therefore, the company has developed a turn-key in-restaurant fundraiser program that returns 20 percent of an event's proceeds back to local organizations. The new Blaze Pizza will be partnering with local schools, sports clubs and other groups to host fundraising events at the new restaurant. The new Midlothian Blaze Pizza is operated by Blazing VA, LLC, which continues to develop the concept throughout Virginia.
