Blippar Launches Cardio VR for Google Cardboard, Virtual Reality App for Kids

Application Marks Debut From Blippar's New Innovation Lab; Represents Company's First Foray Into Creating VR Experiences

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 27, 2015) - Blippar, the leading visual discovery and augmented reality app, today announced the launch of Cardio VR, a virtual reality (VR) application for Google Cardboard. Cardio VR marks Blippar's entrance into VR and is the first project launched by Blippar Lab, the company's new innovation and R&D unit.

Cardio VR, an app designed for the Google Cardboard viewer, creates a fun, kid-friendly VR experience by enabling users to enter an animated cartoon doctor's office and follow along with the experience to identify patients' ailments and remedy their conditions. Cardio VR's innovative game-play functionality offers users a unique way to interact with virtual reality technology. Its "invisible" user interface enables players to control game action exclusively through a user's head movements, fully immersing them in the colorful, animated world.
