Bloomberg Businessweek Names Business Empire Consulting Founders Top American Entrepreneurs

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - Sep 29, 2011) - Bloomberg Businessweek named the founders of Business Empire Consulting (BEC), a Raleigh, N.C., digital marketing agency, some of America's best young entrepreneurs last week. BEC was one of 25 finalists from 2,000 nominations.

In Businessweek.com's seventh annual roundup of promising young American entrepreneurs, readers chose the 25 most impressive companies run by founders no older than 25. Businessweek touts the group of young companies as being "wired, global, and resilient because the economy demands it."

BEC, which provides web design and development, search engine marketing, web videos and social and mobile marketing services to a growing list of national clients, experienced 4,500 percent growth in its first year of business. BEC's success as a company lies in its ability to employ innovative strategies for its clients.

The company attributes much of its success to its youth and energy. The BEC team is full of young, dynamic people with fresh ideas for the marketing landscape. Their rampant success in a poor economy shows that young people have a firm understanding of technology and how it has altered consumer behavior.

CEO Bryan Young said, "I'm honored but this award isn't about me. I have a vision of BEC being known for producing great work and engaging marketing campaigns for the best clients in the world."

Young also said that the fast-paced nature of technology and media forces his team to constantly strive to improve its product.

Bryan Young, Brandon Blair and Matthew Laster built the two-year-old digital marketing agency from the ground up in their junior year at North Carolina State University.

Case Studies from their early work have brought better talent, bigger clients and greater ambitions for success as the trio has begun attracting attention from a few major brands. The agency's emphasis on creating conversations between brands and customers complements recent consumer demands for brand involvement.

Businessweek readers can vote for their favorite company through Oct. 20. The top five companies of the Best Young Entrepreneurs in America will be announced on Oct. 27.

Business Empire Consulting is an independent, full service interactive agency. Headquartered in Raleigh, N.C., the firm offers national services for search, social media, mobile, web video, design and development. The company's growing clientele includes leaders in technology, retail, e-commerce, financial services, media and entertainment.
