Blue Ridge Partners Expands Leadership Team, Strengthens Focus on Financial and Technology Services

Robert Kacergis, Carter Hinckley Named Managing Directors

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - Dec 20, 2013) - Blue Ridge Partners, a consulting firm exclusively focused on helping companies accelerate profitable revenue growth, today announced that Robert Kacergis and Carter Hinckley, both seasoned business leaders with extensive experience in financial and technology services, have joined the firm as Managing Directors. 

This further strengthens Blue Ridge Partner's focus on delivering pragmatic growth strategy and revenue generation solutions to Fortune 500 and upper middle market companies across sectors including: business services, healthcare, financial services, consumer products, industrial products, distribution and technology.

Bob Kacergis brings 29 years of senior line management and business consulting experience to Blue Ridge Partners. A significant portion of his career was with McKinsey & Company where he helped top management of leading corporations develop and pursue growth through service and product innovation, strategic partnerships, and enhanced sales force effectiveness. He then served as Director of Strategy and New Product Development at Merrill Lynch and was a senior executive for online strategy and marketing at The Vanguard Group. Kacergis also led the Financial Services practices at Luminant Worldwide, Bridge Strategy Group and Acument Partners. He started his career as a Systems Engineer with General Electric Company's Astro-Space Division. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Carter Hinckley's 32 year career has been focused primarily on helping financial services companies successfully apply technology to improve and expand their operations. His career includes both line management and consulting responsibilities. Hinckley was Vice President with Merrill Lynch & Co., and a Director of Systems Planning & Development with The Boston Company. He led the Financial Services practice at Infinity Info Systems helping financial service firms leverage CRM software to increase sales and productivity. He was President of The Fieldstone Company, a predecessor company providing similar services. Hinckley has a B.A. in Math and Computer Science from Lake Forest College and an M.B.A. and M.S. in Computer Science from Harvard University.
