BlueArc Named 2011 Best Channel Vendor by Business Solutions Magazine

Enhanced Channel Program Receives Accolade for Third Consecutive Year

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - January 12, 2011) - BlueArc® Corporation, the leading independent file storage provider at scale, today announced that it has been selected by Business Solutions magazine as a Best Channel Vendor for the third consecutive year. Value added resellers (VARs) that participated in Business Solutions' annual survey ranked BlueArc among the top storage vendors, recognizing the company's superior channel program that provides high-quality products, service and support.

BlueArc's ranking is based on the results of a web-based survey conducted by Penn State University in the fall of 2010, which collected more than 11,500 votes. VARs were invited to rate vendor partners on their channel program, specifically looking at: loyalty to partners, service and support, margins, product innovation and reliability.

This award recognizes the enhancements that BlueArc has made over the past year to its Partner Acceleration Program, providing channel partners with the tools and support they need to better meet customer needs. Program updates in 2010 included the addition of program tiers, increased access to technical training, a new Authorized Service Provider certification program, as well as new sales tools and resources to help BlueArc's valued channel partners worldwide. Today, the Partner Acceleration Program includes 172 partners in North America, Eastern Europe/CIS, Latin American, and Asia Pacific.
