Bluebox Security Expands Mobile Application Security via Open Distribution

Delivers Mobile First Security for Any User, Any Mobile App

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 20, 2015) - Bluebox Security®, the mobile app security and management company first to pioneer self-defending apps for BYOD employees and the extended enterprise, today announced that it has expanded its mobile app security to a broader set of enterprises with support for open distribution.

Organizations can utilize Bluebox to transform any mobile app into a self-defending app with enterprise grade security to protect app data and to defend against and respond to emerging mobile attacks. Through open distribution, enterprises can leverage existing mobile investments to deliver Bluebox-secured apps to employees through private app stores, including enterprise mobility management (EMM) and mobile application management (MAM) solutions. Bluebox will also continue to offer its own Dynamic App Management solution for enterprises that have not yet invested in a private app store.

As part of its on-going commitment to provide enterprise grade security for all mobile-first applications, Bluebox also announced beta availability for safeguarding an enterprises' consumer facing apps. With this product line extension, Bluebox now secures the widest range of mobile apps in the market with solutions for enterprise, extended enterprise and consumer apps.
