BlueCat Networks Web Seminar Puts New Perspective on IPAM

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 21, 2006 -- BlueCat Networks Web seminar on February 23, 2006 to look at the increasingly important role of IP Address Management (IPAM) as enterprises require web-based centralized management and control for DNS, DHCP and IP inventories.

While IP Address Management has become a critical concern for enterprises in addressing the demand placed on growing enterprise networks, it is a topic that is often misunderstood. Industry visionary and BlueCat Networks CTO Richard Hyatt will join Daniel Golding, industry analyst with the Burton Group, to address the real issues driving IPAM. Hyatt and Golding will respond to the many unanswered questions on what IPAM is, why businesses need it, and the technology that exists today to manage the demands of tomorrow. A dynamic discussion will provide insights into the effective implementation technologies and strategies that can improve operational efficiencies and dramatically lower the total cost of ownership for larger, geographically dispersed enterprise IP networks.

The Web seminar will also address the role of IPAM in supporting the regulatory demands of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), the Health Insurance Privacy and Portability Act (HIPPA) and others. It will provide insights into the effective IPAM strategies that can be adopted to ensure policy compliance.
