BlueLithium Launches First Behaviorally Targeted Streaming Video Ad Network

AdRoll Enables Advertisers to Target Videos to Those Who've Already Visited Their Web Sites, Increasing Response Rates by Up to 300%

SAN JOSE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 13, 2006 -- BlueLithium announced today the launch of AdRoll, the first video streaming ad network with behavioral targeting capabilities.

BlueLithium's AdRoll allows advertisers to target streaming ads to people who've already visited their Web site -- as they travel across other sites in the BlueLithium network. For example, a person who visits the site of a major wireless phone provider and then goes to other sites in the BlueLithium network would see a targeted video ad from that wireless phone company, driving them back to the site for upselling or to complete a purchase. AdRoll is the first and only streaming video network that enables advertisers to do behavioral retargeting, which has been shown to improve click-through and conversion rates by over 300 percent.

According to JupiterResearch, streaming video spending is expected to grow from $344M this year to $440M in 2007, scaling to $943M in 2010. Total broadband ad spending is projected to reach $3.8B by 2010 while eMarketer estimates that over 35 percent of Web sites will support streaming video by 2007.

BlueLithium's AdRoll aggregates video on top-tier Web sites to provide advertisers with quality in-stream or in-banner placements. The BlueLithium network includes over 1,000 publishers delivering over 500 million monthly streams. Advertisers will be able to use BlueLithium's advanced targeting capabilities to refine the focus of their video campaigns, reaching those consumers with certain demographic profiles for instance, or those in certain geographic regions.

AdRoll offers advertisers two options for their video. With in-stream video, advertisers' content appears in a 15-second stream pre or post roll of the video. With in-banner video, advertisers can take standard leader-boards or skyscrapers and turn them into streaming video advertisements. Advertisers can either use the entire ad unit for video or have a video window in a banner. As with other ad formats BlueLithium supports, complete campaign reporting tells them when their ads are being shown and how often they are being viewed.

"The launch of AdRoll supports our commitment to reinventing the ad network," said Gurbaksh Chahal, CEO and founder of BlueLithium. "It's the first video streaming network that also leverages the power of behavioral targeting, which advertisers have been asking for, and we're pleased to be the first to deliver on."
