Blueprint Unveils Resource Center for Business Analysts at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2008

Blueprint Adds Cloud-Based Productivity and Support Center to the Industry's Leading Business Analyst Workbench

ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - October 13, 2008) - GARTNER SYMPOSIUM/ITxpo -- Blueprint, the leader in requirements solutions for software business analysts, today announced the immediate availability of Blueprint Requirements Center 2009 Feature Pack Two. As part of this release, Blueprint is launching the new Blueprint Resource Center as a tightly integrated component of Requirements Center 2009.

The Blueprint Resource Center is a seamless, cloud-based collaboration solution that can be leveraged by the industry business analyst community to accelerate and align global project teams. The new Resource Center leverages syndication technology to draw content from multiple sources throughout the Internet as well as customer intranet resources.

The Blueprint Resource Center is completely customizable to provide company-specific guidance to meet specific business needs. In addition, the Blueprint Resource Center is accessible from directly within the Blueprint Requirements Center product, providing a seamless way for business analysts to leverage best practices within their own requirements efforts.

Feature Pack Two Enhances HP Quality Center Integration

Launched earlier this year, Requirements Center 2009 delivers four groundbreaking modules purpose built to provide business analyst teams the capability to optimize the requirements definition practices of requirements elicitation, elaboration, validation, and acceptance. The new functionality provided in Feature Pack Two improves on what is already one of the industry's most advanced integrations with HP Quality Center. Now, requirements definition meta-data (including visual requirements, GUI prototypes, security requirements, and data-elements) are seamlessly integrated with HP Quality Center's Requirements Management and Test Management modules. In addition, HP Quality Center users also have the ability to import and leverage assets within Blueprint's Elicitation module to provide early visibility and to speed IT development and quality assurance teams.
