BlueStar Announces Customers' Success With Business Development Giveaways

VAR Winners Grow Their Business With BlueStar's FUSION Program Services

FLORENCE, KY--(Marketwire - November 11, 2008) - BlueStar, the leading innovator in solutions-based distribution for Auto ID, Point-of-Sale, Mobility, and RFID products, announces campaign kickoffs for the winners of its RSPA and VARTECH08 FUSION marketing and business-development giveaways. BlueStar has awarded nearly six figures' worth of FUSION business revitalization services in 2008.

During RSPA's RetailNOW show in July 2008, BlueStar held a One-on-One Executive Reception for its partners where it gave away more than $50,000. In addition, BlueStar offered up three $500 business-development awards for joining RSPA through BlueStar. Further, during VARTECH08 in September, BlueStar gave away an additional $30,000 in FUSION prizes that were presented at the show's closing reception. And this week, during the launch day of BlueStar's new global website on Monday, November 10th, the company added yet another $5,000 worth of FUSION services to its prizes awarded this year.

--  ABS, who won the $20,000 prize at the RSPA reception, is using its
    winnings to launch a lead generation campaign, which includes hundreds of
    direct mail pieces and telemarketing. The goal of the campaign is to
    increase the efficiency of its sales team.
    
--  Suntech Computer, who won the $20,000 VARTECH package, is planning a
    2009 marketing campaign that will target English-, Chinese-, and Japanese-
    speaking markets.
    
--  Pinnacle Solutions, one of the RSPA $500 award winners and a prior
    FUSION participant, will be dedicating his new marketing campaign to end-
    user qualification, as a follow-up to previous mailers he had sent out
    through FUSION.
    
--  POS Leader, another $500 campaign winner from joining RSPA through
    BlueStar, is using its marketing dollars to produce a direct mail piece to
    recruit prospective customers.
