BlueStar Sets New Standard With VARTECH09

A combination of innovative programming, live product demonstrations and high-level networking opportunities helped make the internationally attended VARTECH09 the most popular in the event's history.

Held in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 13-15, VARTECH09 was a combination conference and trade show that united value-added reseller (VAR) partners, manufacturers, and the BlueStar team. VARTECH09 brought together attendees from 22 countries, with hardware manufacturers and software solution providers, offering a working forum for these parties to share ideas and expand their respective markets.

Activities included one-on-one hardware and software solution demonstrations in BlueStar's highly anticipated CodeZone. The new "Think" series seminar and workshop sessions were sponsored by FUSION, BlueStar's highly acclaimed end-user demand generation marketing program available to all BlueStar Resellers. Best-of-breed hardware manufacturer and software providers detailed the value add of their products and vertical specific solutions and applications. Other workshops focused on special creative financing opportunities for resellers, new revenue streams, business expense reduction, service procedure management and business enhancements. BlueStar also introduced the industry's first distributor-sponsored social technologies workshops. Resellers learned how to incorporate the most relevant B2B social networking tools into their own marketing plans, how to optimize their company websites for new sales opportunities, as well as create their own business spokesperson videos for their corporate websites.

Over the years, VARTECH has emerged as the number one global trade show for vendors and resellers of point-of-sale, AIDC, mobility, and RFID technologies.
