BlueWater Technologies Reports Strong Growth in First and Second Quarters

Michigan-Based Company Increases Workforce by 26% to Support Growth

SOUTHFIELD, MI--(Marketwire - Sep 8, 2011) - BlueWater Technologies, a national provider of In Store Solutions & Technology Driven Displays, Audio Visual Integration, and Meeting & Event Technology, reported today that revenue for the first two quarters of 2011 increased by 34-percent over the same period last year. Key growth factors for BlueWater consist of new business coming from its digital media and live events divisions.

BlueWater's digital media team offers progressive digital signage and interactive solutions that get companies noticed and generate leads to drive business. In June, BlueWater launched its Digital Menu Board for national restaurant and retail chains to give owners a means to help control their margins and move inventory. With a simple interface, users can update digital menu boards at a single location or multiple locations to promote products with on-demand advertisements, offers and discounts.

"This year, we've expanded our digital media team to stay ahead of the digital evolution and meet the increasing demand for these types of services and solutions," said BlueWater Technologies' Director of Operations Bob Daniels. One of the largest cellular phone brands selected BlueWater to develop a custom video game to promote its new Smartphone on a national tour. BlueWater successfully met its customer's goal of enhancing the consumer experience, lead generation, and getting the phone into the players' hands by using it as the game controller. The demand for experiential marketing solutions has grown significantly for mobile tours to support various business promotions, tradeshows and expositions, as well as in major sports arenas such as the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia earlier this year.

Most recently, BlueWater's live events division was selected to provide Mazda with experiential marketing solutions for the 2012 auto show circuit. Over the past twelve years BlueWater has played a key role for 60-plus annual auto shows, providing General Motors with state of the art audio visual equipment, technical support and engineering LED displays for exhibits and press conferences. BlueWater's live events division has successfully expanded its role by providing custom experiential marketing and lead generation solutions for General Motors.

To continue its reach within the exhibit world, BlueWater hired Senior Account Executive Don Mascot to manage national accounts. An industry veteran, Mascot brings more than 20 years experience managing programs for major events. Most recently, Mascot was the senior account director at Access TCA, Inc., where he focused on automotive and other business sectors for auto shows, tradeshows, and live event marketing. During his 13 years at Exhibit Works, Mascot was the chief operating officer and vice president of operations.
