BLVD Holdings Inc.: Name Change, New Board of Directors and Senior Management Appointments

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 9, 2014) - BLVD Holdings Inc. (the "Company") (OTCQB:BLVO) - Today John G. Simmonds, Chairman and CEO of BLVD Holdings Inc., is pleased to announce a name change, new board and senior management appointments.

BLVD Holdings, Inc. has initiated the process to change its name to "A.C. Simmonds and Sons Inc., subject to regulatory approval, and will commence carrying on business under the name A.C. Simmonds and Sons effective immediately. Founded in 1918 by Arthur Claude Simmonds, A.C. Simmonds and Sons has a long history in business from electronics to wireless technology that spans two centuries.

"We will be funding innovative technologies across industries in Canada and internationally," said John G. Simmonds, grandson of the founder. "In the coming weeks we will be announcing a number of acquisitions in the waste, energy, food and leisure sectors."

Today, A.C. Simmonds and Sons has appointed the following new board of directors and senior management to fill current vacancies.

Carrie J. Weiler - Corporate Secretary

With over twenty years' experience in the public company sector and in addition to her role at A.C. Simmonds, Mrs. Carrie Weiler provides corporate secretarial services to other public companies and is also a member of the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries.

Ian Bradley - Board

Mr. Ian Bradley is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Bradley has served as Chief Financial Officer of Ethicon Sutures ltd, a Johnson & Johnson company, Mattel Canada Inc., Forbes Meditec Inc., and PBB Global Logistics. Mr. Bradley is a former president of Mattel Canada Inc., Grand Toys Inc. and served as interim President of Lakeside Steel Inc. He has served on the board of directors of a number of TSX and NASDAQ listed public companies. Mr. Bradley consults in the mergers and acquisitions and the company financing businesses.

Ken Adelberg - Board

Mr. Ken Adelberg served as President and Chief Executive Officer of HiFi House Group of Companies, a privately held company based in Broomall, Pennsylvania from 1978 to 2012. During that time, Mr. Adelberg was a founding shareholder and board member of a number of public companies, including US Wats Inc., specializing in business telecommunications services, Republic Bank (FRBK -Nasdaq) from 1989 to 2004, GSI Commerce Inc. (GSIC-Nasdaq), from 1995 to 2006. GSIC was a leading e- commerce services provider, purchased for $2.2B by EBAY in 2011. Mr. Adelberg is an active board member of the Lebow College of Business at Drexel University, as well as on the board of the Eberly College of Science at Penn State.

Henry J. Kloepper - Board

Mr. Henry Kloepper is a leading financier and has been involved in investment banking and corporate finance for over thirty years, bringing rounded knowledge of capital markets, strategic growth, and investments. Mr. Kloepper is currently CEO of Houston Lake Mining Inc. and a Director of Avieya Communications. Mr. Kloepper was previously a Director and President of Mogul Energy International Inc. and has held executive positions with Award Capital, JP Morgan, Citibank, Bank of America, and North American Trust in the US, Canada, and Europe. Mr. Kloepper is Director and Chairman of Audit Committee for DealNet Capital, a CNSX listed company and Director of Inter American Gaming.

Dr. Chandra Panchal - Board

Dr. Chandra Panchal was a co-founder of Procyon Biopharma Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company (TSX). Dr. Panchal is founder and CEO of Axcelon Biopolymers Corp., a medical device and biomaterials company. Dr. Panchal has actively led company acquisitions, in-licensing as well as out-licensing of technologies and products. Having been involved in international transactions in Europe, India, China and Brazil., Dr. Panchal currently serves on the board of director of four public companies as well as MaRS Innovation. Dr. Panchal has authored over fifty scientific papers and is viewed as one of the world's experts in Industrial Microbiology. Dr. Panchal is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Western Ontario where he obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering.

Ted Daniel - Board

Mr. Ted Daniel founded Titanium Transportation Group Inc. in May of 2002, has extensive experience in the trucking industry and on various turnaround assignments in a CFO capacity. Mr. Daniel began his career at KPMG LLP completing his designation requirements, furthering his career at Schwartz Levitsky Feldman LLP in accounting, tax, and M&A corporate finance activities. Mr. Daniel led the Titanium Group to a successful partnership with the ZZEN Group of Companies in 2007. Mr. Daniel's strong financial leadership and passion for efficiency through technology, has resulted in Titanium being named to the Canada Profit 100/200/500 listings for the past five consecutive years.

Mr. Daniel is a Chartered Accountant (1994) and holds a Bachelor's degree from York University in Computer Science and an Honours Bachelor degree in Business and Administrative Studies.

Tyrone Ganpaul - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Tyrone Ganpaul has over 30 years experience in the food industry in both financial and administrative capacities, and also the petroleum and electronics industries.

Mr. Ganpaul was Vice-President, Finance for Export Packers Company Limited, a food processing and distribution company and actively participated in its growth from $30 million to close to $400 million in an 8 year period. In addition he had senior financial roles with the Oshawa group which was subsequently sold to Sobeys. He has 8 years of experience with Exxon and Imperial Oil, and Philips Electronics in financial and marketing roles and also was a principal of Redirect Technologies which created an electrical load shifting technology and president of Sweet Valley Foods, a food packaging operation.

A professional accountant (CMA), Mr. Ganpaul has a university background in Economics and Business Administration and was also a consultant to Goudas Foods, a leading ethnic food company in Canada.
