BMO Announces Relocation of Full-Service Branch in Burnaby's Lougheed Town Centre

- 'Making Money Make Sense' in Five Languages: English, Mandarin, Portuguese, Hindi and Punjabi

- Branch Represents a $1.2 Million Investment

BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 2, 2011) - BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the opening of its newly relocated branch in the Lougheed Town Centre shopping mall at 160 – 9855 Austin Avenue, Burnaby, BC. The branch has moved to a new location within the mall at the intersection of North Road and Lougheed Highway.

"Our new full-service branch is readily equipped to meet the growing demands of this diverse community and we are looking forward to providing our new and existing customers the same banking experience they've come to expect from BMO," said Nathan Thorpe, Branch Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal.

The new BMO branch represents a $1.2 million investment into the Burnaby community and offers 12 in-house experts, including five financial services experts. Customers will also have access to commercial account managers, financial planners and a mortgage specialist.

BMO's new state-of-the-art facility also offers customers:

  • Services provided in: English, Mandarin, Portuguese, Hindi and Punjabi;
  • Access to commercial account and deposit services;
  • Three Instabank automated banking machines (ABM);
  • A free coin counting machine;
  • Full wheelchair accessibility; and
  • Free parking.

BMO's new Lougheed Town Centre branch hours of operation are:

Monday – Thursday: 9:30am – 4:30pm

Friday: 9:30am – 6:00pm

Saturday: 9:30am – 4:30pm

The Lougheed Town Centre branch grand opening celebration will take place on May 28th, 2011.
