BMO Asset Management Inc. Announces Index Changes for Two BMO ETFs

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 18, 2016) - BMO Asset Management Inc. (BMO AM) today announced changes to the underlying indices of BMO Equal Weight US Banks Index ETF (Ticker: ZBK) and BMO Equal Weight US Banks Hedged to CAD Index ETF (Ticker: ZUB).

Currently, ZBK tracks the performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Large-Cap Banks Equal Weight Total Stock Market Index and ZUB tracks the performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Large-Cap Banks Equal Weight Total Stock Market Index Canadian Dollar Hedged.

Effective on or about January 29, 2016, ZBK will start tracking the Solactive Equal Weight US Bank Index and ZUB will start tracking the performance of the Solactive Equal Weight US Bank Index Canadian Dollar Hedged.

An amendment to the offering documents of ZBK and ZUB has been filed with the securities regulatory authorities, for which a receipt has been issued.

The Solactive Equal Weight US Bank Index and the Solactive Equal Weight US Bank Index Canadian Dollar Hedged will seek to provide investors with the same exposure to the asset class to which ZBK and ZUB, respectively, are currently exposed. The changes to the indices will align with the current investment objectives and strategies of ZUB and ZBK. Additionally, the frequency of rebalancing for the indices remains the same.

Since its creation in 2007, Solactive AG has become one of the key players in the indexing space. Solactive AG currently calculates indices for 250 clients in Europe, America and Asia with approximately USD$50 billion invested in products linked to its indices.
