BMO Names Luke Seabrook as Head, Financial Products and Debt Products

Adds global responsibility for all BMO's Fixed Income and Money Market Sales & Trading capabilities to existing Financial Products portfolio

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 29, 2012) - BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (NYSE:BMO)(TSX:BMO), today announced that Luke Seabrook has been appointed Head, Financial Products and Debt Products. In this role, Mr. Seabrook will add responsibility for all of BMO's global fixed income and money market sales and trading activity to his existing Financial Products portfolio which encompasses the company's cross-asset derivatives trading and origination, structured products, structured finance and commodities businesses. Mr. Seabrook will continue to report to Pat Cronin, Global Head of Trading Products. He is a member of the BMO Capital Markets Executive Committee. Mr. Seabrook's appointment is effective March 31.

Mr. Seabrook joined BMO Capital Markets in 2004 as Managing Director and Head of Equity Linked and Mutual Fund Linked Products. He was appointed Head of Financial Products in 2008.

In recognition of the important role that the U.S. and, in particular, the U.S. Midwest play in BMO's debt products and financial products businesses, Mr. Seabrook will work out of both BMO's Chicago and Toronto offices.

Mr. Seabrook holds an HBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is on the Board of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and a member of the United Way Toronto MIG Cabinet.
