W3C - the World Wide Web Consortium is an international consortium involving member organizations and the public working together to develop Web standards. Founded by Tim Berners-Lee in 1994, W3C engages in education, outreach and software development and serves as an open forum for discussion about the web. Achieving "Web interoperability" by publishing open standards for Web languages and protocols is one of the fundamental ways in which W3C seeks to avoid market fragmentation and thus Web fragmentation.

Nuance Communications, the leading provider of speech and predictive text solutions for businesses and consumers, will be giving bnetTV.com an exclusive tour of their Boston facility. Most recently Nuance signed a multi-year agreement with Nokia to deliver innovative mobile speech and predictive text capabilities across a broad range of Nokia handsets. bnetTV.com caught up with Nuance at this past CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment in San Francisco and will also be at Mobile Internet World.
