Additional asset class applications will be launched on the CORTEX platform in the coming months," said Thomas Soede, Global Head of Electronic Markets at BNP Paribas.

BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking has invested heavily in developing and upgrading its electronic trading capabilities over the past year, based on dialogue with clients and a significant increase in electronic trading volumes. CORTEX FX is the culmination of these investments, offering clients a fully-integrated and highly customisable 'trading journey', from pre-trade through to post-trade services.

Following the launch, Arne Groes, Global Head of Sales says: "CORTEX FX will be a key component for BNP Paribas' global FX credentials.
