BNP Paribas Named Best Fund Administrator by HFMWeek

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Nov 16, 2011) - BNP Paribas today announced that it was named 2011 Best Hedge Fund Administrator for single managers under $30bn. The Awards were given earlier this fall at the HFMWeek US Services Providers Awards ceremony in New York.

HFMWeek's Service Provider Awards recognize the accomplishments of US-based service providers around fund administration, technology, legal services and prime brokerage among others. The awards are granted based on five criteria: financial progress; business growth; client satisfaction; genuine product innovation; and adaptability in the face of regulatory changes.

"The continued market recognition of our service highlights the strong alternatives franchise we are building in the US," said Andrew Dougherty, Head of Alternative and Institutional Solutions at BNP Paribas, Americas. "We are thrilled to have received this award."

The HFMWeek award follows the Bank's recent commendation rating for North America in the 2011 Global Custodian Hedge Fund Administration survey. This recognition from the industry further reinforces the Bank's strategic commitment to serving the alternative investment manager community.
