BNSF Honors the Nation's Truck Drivers During National Truck Driver Appreciation Week
FORT WORTH, TX--(Marketwire - November 2, 2009) - BNSF Railway Company (BNSF) will honor the
nation's truck drivers by hosting events at BNSF intermodal facilities in
Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; Memphis, Tenn.; Seattle, Wash.; and San
Bernardino, Calif. to celebrate National Truck Driver Appreciation Week,
Nov. 1-7.
More than 3,000 truck drivers who enter these facilities will be greeted by
signage, enjoy refreshments and giveaways passed out by BNSF's truckload
sales team.
In addition to the events, BNSF has sent celebration kits to 59 of its
truckload customers, including J.B. Hunt Transportation Services, Inc.;
Schneider National, Inc.; Swift Transportation Co., Inc.; U.S. Xpress
Enterprises, Inc.; and Werner Enterprises, Inc.

partners and their drivers who, along with railroad employees, are the
backbone of ensuring the products American consumers use daily are
