BNSF to Report Second-Quarter Earnings July 25

FORT WORTH, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 5, 2006 -- Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF) (NYSE: BNI) will report its second-quarter 2006 earnings in a Webcast at 8:45 a.m. Eastern Time July 25, 2006. BNSF plans to issue its earnings press release at about 8 a.m. Eastern Time that day.

The Webcast will be led by BNSF Chairman, President and CEO Matt Rose and will include presentations from Tom Hund, executive vice president and chief financial officer; John Lanigan, executive vice president and chief marketing officer; and Carl Ice, executive vice president and chief operations officer. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
