Bob Girolamo Joins ePrize as Managing Director, Mobile CRM Division; Ira Schlussel Promoted to General Counsel

Addition of Senior Management Reflects Company's Focus on Delivering World-Class Mobile and Multi-Channel Solutions

DETROIT, MI--(Marketwire - Feb 13, 2013) - ePrize, a global leader in digital engagement, today announced that interactive/digital industry veteran Bob Girolamo joined the company as Managing Director of its Mobile CRM Division. In addition, Ira Schlussel has been named General Counsel.

An accomplished digital advertising strategist, Bob Girolamo's Chicago-based mobile team will develop strategic mobile CRM solutions for brands to capitalize on this essential channel. ePrize's mobile CRM technology platform includes offers, contests, games, surveys and alerts that can be targeted to consumers, motivating them to engage and drive foot traffic while in market. With the recent acquisitions of two mobile marketing companies, Mozes and Cellit, ePrize will continue to invest in mobile CRM to increase engagement from consumers.

Prior to ePrize, Girolamo was General Manager of CoolSavings.com focusing on the expansion of the brand, penetrating new revenue streams, and launching new platforms. Previously, Girolamo served as SVP of The Media Group at Q Interactive, building long-standing partnerships with top brands and agencies, and grew the media network partnerships tenfold. Girolamo established Q Interactive as the leader in digital performance-based ad networks by orchestrating successful marketing, product and sales strategies.

"With 93% of the U.S. population now carrying mobile phones(1), companies realize that if they want to reach consumers anytime, anywhere, they need to use mobile to make the connection," Girolamo stated. "Over 66% of mobile phone users are asking for offers via text, but only 23% are receiving them(2). There are unique opportunities only possible with mobile, such as connecting with consumers at the moment of interest, and it's our job to help brands effectively engage these consumers to drive response-driven campaigns."

Ira Schlussel has taken the position of General Counsel based in the company's Detroit headquarters. In this role, Ira oversees all corporate legal matters and legal compliance for all aspects of ePrize campaigns which include online, social and mobile-based loyalty programs, prize drawings, chance-based games, and skill-based contests. Ira joined ePrize in March 2007 as Associate General Counsel overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Legal Services team, which ensures all brand campaigns adhere to promotion and marketing law, CAN-SPAM, COPPA, direct mail, as well as viral, social and mobile best practices. ePrize has administered 12,000+ campaigns across 44 countries and indemnifies clients for all campaign work ePrize administers.

Ira's 15 years of legal experience includes private practice in the areas of general corporate litigation, estate planning and real estate, as well as corporate counsel positions for numerous business ventures. Schlussel graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and received his Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center.

"The area of promotional and marketing law is extremely exciting in this ever-changing digital landscape," said Schlussel. "Marketers have so many tactics to engage with their consumers across countless emerging platforms. From fraud prevention to a myriad of state, federal, and international laws, as well as platform-specific policies, our team navigates the complexities of this legal landscape on behalf of our brand partners."
