Boca Loca Cachaça Approaches 2008 With New Veteran Leadership, Market Growth & Expansion

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - December 11, 2007) - The Boca Loca Cachaça Company, producer and importer of award-winning Boca Loca Brazilian Cachaça, announced today the appointment of two veteran drinks industry professionals to lead the brand in a time of significant growth. Lee E. Strader has been tapped to take the helm of Boca Loca as its new CEO and Martin Bart has been appointed to assist the executive team as a key strategic consultant.

Mr. Strader is an industry veteran of more than 30 years, beginning his career with the legendary supplier Heublein Wine & Spirits Company in Hartford, Connecticut in the late 1970s, before moving onto senior sales and management positions at major importing, marketing and distributing companies such as Standard Liquor Corporation, Guinness UDG, Pernod Ricard USA & W.J. Deutsch & Sons Ltd.

Joining Mr. Strader as a key strategic advisor is Martin Bart. Mr. Bart brings to Boca Loca Cachaça more than 40 years of spirits industry background, primarily at the venerable house of Seagram in New York, where he climbed through top sales management ranks to become its president in 1985. During his significant tenure at Seagram, he led two of the most important brand successes in the industry: the introduction of Captain Morgan and the dramatic 500 percent growth of Crown Royal from 100,000 to half a million cases. He later spent nearly a decade as an executive partner with Union Wine & Spirits of Chicago.
