Bombardier Selects Hawker Pacific as a Q-Series Recognized Service Facility

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 21, 2007) - Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Hawker Pacific Pty. Ltd. of Bankstown, Australia has been selected as a Recognized Service Facility (RSF) for Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft in the Asia-Pacific region. Hawker Pacific will perform the work at its facility at Cairns in northeast Australia.

Under an RSF agreement, Hawker Pacific is recognized by Bombardier as being a quality service provider for "C" checks and other heavy maintenance on all Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft. Hawker Pacific can also perform aircraft modifications and upgrades on Dash8/Q-Series aircraft. There are currently 172 Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft in service with or on firm order from operators in the Asia-Pacific region.

In addition to the Hawker Pacific RSF for Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft, STAECO of Jinan, People's Republic of China is an RSF for Bombardier's CRJ Series aircraft in the Asia-Pacific region. In Europe, Adria Airways of Slovenia is the RSF for the CRJ regional jet family, while Flybe in England serves operators of Dash 8/Q-Series turboprops.

In North America, Bombardier provides regional aircraft heavy maintenance at West Virginia Air Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia and Tucson Air Center, Arizona. In addition, Bombardier provides line maintenance for its regional aircraft at John F. Kennedy International, New York; Raleigh-Durham International Airport, North Carolina; Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma; Washington Dulles International, D.C. and Ronald Reagan Washington National, D.C.
