Bombardier Skyjet Celebrates 10 Years at the Forefront of a New Generation of Business Jet Travel Solutions

The First Company of Its Kind Established to Bring Private Jet Travel to a Broader Market, Skyjet Continues Its Commitment to Safety and Service Excellence

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - September 24, 2007) - Bombardier Skyjet, the pioneer service for online booking of privately chartered business jets and provider of the Skyjet Card, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year, and continued leadership in providing a range of solutions for business jet travel that did not exist a decade ago.

"Over the past 10 years, Skyjet has been at the forefront of many innovations in private jet travel, and we are proud to commemorate this important milestone in the history of our business," stated Skyjet Managing Director Chris Milligan.

Established in 1997 and acquired by Bombardier in 2000, Skyjet was formed to create greater efficiencies in the charter business jet market by aggregating demand and utilizing new technologies to make private jet travel more accessible to more people.

Skyjet was the first company to develop and launch a real-time booking engine for charter business jets that consumers could access via the Internet -- which was awarded a U.S. patent last year. And, it was among the first to introduce a membership program that evolved to become the Skyjet Card. Over the past decade, numerous companies -- both brokers and operators -- followed Skyjet into what has emerged as a new segment of the market, with various programs that provide pre-paid flight time through networks of charter operators.

Today, Skyjet offers several different jet card programs, including its flagship Skyjet Card, which provides 25, 50 or 100 flight hours in a preferred aircraft size -- utilizing a carefully selected network of charter operators that have met Skyjet's strict requirements and have been successfully rated by at least one of the three U.S. aviation audit authorities. The Skyjet sales organization also offers the Flexjet 25 jet card, operated by Jet Solutions LLC, providing flight time on the exclusive Flexjet 25 fleet of Bombardier business jets.

In addition, Skyjet's U.K.-based sister organization, Bombardier Skyjet International, was rechristened in 2005, thereby creating a global brand to serve customers with charter jet travel needs throughout the world.

In June 2006, Skyjet relocated its headquarters from Fairfax, Va., to the Dallas metro area, co-locating its management team and customer care organization in Richardson, Texas, with the headquarters office of Bombardier Flexjet, the fractional ownership program of Bombardier Aerospace. The move has served to further leverage synergies with Flexjet and accommodate Skyjet's growing business.

"Skyjet's business continues to grow and we continue to provide a valuable service to the individuals and companies who rely on us for their business jet travel needs, as well as generate incremental business for key charter operators that have met our requirements for safety, aircraft quality and superior service," said Mr. Milligan.

"And, in providing supplemental lift to the Bombardier organization and their customers, we are performing another service of value within our parent company," he added. "As interest in business jet travel continues to climb, Skyjet occupies an important place in the market, touching the customer at the entry point of private flight," Mr. Milligan stated.
