Bombardier Transportation Signs New Agreement for Rail Engineering Education in Thailand

- Agreement strengthens Bombardier's strategic approach to further growing local roots in key markets

Rail technology leader Bombardier Transportation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Navamindradhiraj University, alongside King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (Bangkok), The Krungthep Thanakom Co., Ltd., Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTS), and AMR Asia Co. Ltd. The MoU sets out the terms to provide engineering expertise to students and instructors over the next four years.

The new partnership will promote and coordinate cooperation between the partners for the development of training and expertise in urban rail transit, naval, aircraft and other associated industries. Experts from Bombardier will collaborate with the University's Urban Community College of Bangkok (UCCB) to develop a new Associate Degree Program in Rail Technology.
