Bonaventure Enterprises Inc. Begins Exploration of Squaw Creek Project

RENO, NEVADA--(CCNMatthews - June 20, 2005) - Bonaventure Enterprises Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BVT)(OTCBB:BVTEF) has begun its first phase of exploration at the Squaw Creek property located in the Ivanhoe Mining District, four miles northwest of the Hollister Deposit. The Squaw Creek property is 15 miles southeast of the Ken Snyder Deposit in the Midas Mining District. Both the Ivanhoe Mining District and the Midas Mining districts lie on the northwest strike projection of the Carlin Trend. The Midas Mining District lies at the northwest end of a line of gold deposits, which extends to the southeast to the Rain deposit, south of Carlin. The property is optioned from White Knight Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:WKR) with BVT able to earn up to a 60 percent interest in the property.

The first phase of exploration includes an extensive geophysics survey and a drilling program to further test the property previously drilled by White Knight Resources Ltd. According to the 43-101 report prepared for the property, geologist Paul Pelke (P. Geo.) notes that a principal target on the property is a Carlin-type disseminated gold deposit hosted in carbonate rocks within and below the Rodeo Creek Formation which hosts significant gold reserves at some of the mines within the Carlin Trend.

"Another target at Squaw Creek, in my opinion, is a high grade vein deposit like Ken Snyder or the deeper part of Hollister," said Richard Kern, P. Geo. and vice president of geology for Bonaventure Enterprises Inc.

Bonaventure Enterprises Inc. has engaged Fritz Geophysics of Fairplay, Colorado to conduct extensive geophysical testing of the Squaw Creek property and review the geophysical testing that has been conducted in the region. Fritz Geophysics has 38 years experience in Mineral Exploration Geophysics including extensive field applications on six continents and 24 countries for most metals from Antimony to Zinc with emphasis on base metals and gold.

According to the 43-101 report, strongly anomalous gold mineralization has been consistently intersected in drill holes over an area 3 miles long by 1 mile wide. The gold occurs within silicified and brecciated zones often more than 100 feet thick in Paleozoic sedimentary rocks of the Upper Plate and in overlying Miocene age volcanics. Thick zones of Carlin-style gold mineralization are also hosted within silty dolomitic sediments which may be part of the Rodeo Creek Formation indicating the presence of nearby auriferous Lower Plate host rocks.

Significant drill intercepts from previous drilling by WKR include:

Drillhole Length (feet) Gold (oz/ton)
SC 99-7 5 0.120
SC 99-10 135 0.024
SC 99-11 90 0.021
