Bonaventure Enterprises Inc.: K9 Delivers More Uranium, Supports Potential for Large Discovery

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 20, 2008) - BONAVENTURE ENTERPRISES INC. (TSX VENTURE:BVT)(FRANKFURT:YQG) is pleased to issue the second set of surface grab sample assay results from the 162 km2 uranium enriched K9 Uranium Property or "K9", located in the James Bay Mining District, Quebec.

The Company has received an additional 46 blasted surface grab sample assay results from the 7 km long uranium corridor. The average chemical assay grade from the samples is 0.14% U3O8 (2.85 lbs/ton U3O8) within a range of 0.03% U3O8 (0.54 lbs/ton U3O8) to 0.42% U3O8 (8.31 lbs/ton U3O8). The total K9 database from 2007 now includes 91 surface grab sample assays. The average chemical assay grade from the samples is 0.14% U3O8 (2.85 lbs/ton U3O8) within a range of 0.01% U3O8 (0.14 lbs/ton U3O8) to 0.89% U3O8 (17.17 lbs/ton U3O8) (refer to the appended table for a complete listing of all 91 assays).

Geo., President & CEO, stated: "The latest exploration results on K9 has increased our level of comfort in the continuity and grades of near surface uranium mineralization, confirming even at this early stage of exploration, a significant two-dimensional uranium system covering 5.25 km2 in near-vertical dipping layered gneisses, granites and pegmatites. The uranium system is open laterally and at depth. A depth of 25 m could translate to a potential volume of more than 350 million tonnes of uranium bearing material. The planned 20,000 m drill campaign will be instrumental in determining the overall three-dimensional size of the uranium system.

Unforeseen delays in the financing process in late 2007 have pushed the drilling towards March 2008, when ice conditions should be optimum for hauling drills to site and for local ground transportation. The delay will not impact the Company's exploration time line as set out in Q3-2007."

(i) Previously issued results (dated October 2,
2007) are not highlighted. Results here may not
match previously issued results due to rounding
of numbers.
(1) To obtain fresh, surface bedrock samples, 50 cm
deep holes were drilled using a Pionjar
portable drill, and the holes were blasted
using explosive material. Between 3 kg and 5 kg
samples for chemical analyses were collected by
field crews. Samples were bagged, tagged and
sealed on-site; identified by helicopter pad
and drill hole numbers.
(2) Samples were sent to ALS-Chemex laboratories in
Val d'Or (Quebec) and North Vancouver (B.C.)
for quantitative chemical analyses using the
ME-MS61 Elements Method, where samples were
bar-coded, dried, weighed, crushed and
pulverized; with 50 grams of the 200 mesh
fraction used in the analysis by mass
spectrometer. Standards, blank and duplicate
samples were added for Quality Assurance and
Quality Control. Duplicate witness samples were
also collected from localities which showed
special textures, alteration phenomenon,
interesting mineralogy, typical alteration
products of uranium minerals and higher
radioactivity.
(3) Lbs / ton are calculated using the U3O8 ppm
content: ppm U3O8 divided by 10,000 ppm to
equal % U3O8, which in turn is divided by 100%
times 2,000 lbs / ton.
