Boom Broadcast Distributes New Anti-Smoking PSA Campaign Conceived by Young Filmmakers for the Entertainment Industry Foundation

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Jun 8, 2016) -  Boom Broadcast & Media Relations is proud to work with the Entertainment Industry Foundation to distribute their latest public service campaign -- a unique endeavor where young emerging filmmakers were engaged to produce peer-to-peer anti-smoking messages.

The new anti-smoking public service announcements (PSAs), produced by young filmmakers in collaboration with the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), a 501(c)(3) organization, are designed to encourage teenagers to abstain from using tobacco products and to educate audiences about the risks and side effects of smoking.

The notion of peer-to-peer communication was central in the development of the PSAs. The "Life" and the "No Smoke Squad" PSAs were written and developed by youth from Ghetto Film School's Digital Bodega. Beyond delivering anti-smoking messages, these PSAs also further the growth of young filmmakers by fostering creative development and delivering their work to new audiences.
