Bosch Cooktops and Dishwashers Top Two Segments in J.D. Power's Kitchen Appliance Satisfaction Study

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 3, 2015) - Solidifying its position as the premiere European kitchen design brand, Bosch home appliances is proud to announce that its cooktops and dishwashers have been ranked highest in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power, according to the organization's 2015 Kitchen Appliance Satisfaction Study.

The Kitchen Appliance Satisfaction Study measures consumer satisfaction across six factors: ease of use; features; operational performance; price; styling/appearance; and warranty. Bosch cooktops and dishwashers performed particularly well in operational performance. Additionally, Bosch cooktops were rated highly within the features category, while Bosch dishwashers also received high marks for styling/appearance.

"Bosch values the long-term satisfaction of our customers, and we are honored that our cooktops and dishwashers have achieved this recognition from J.D. Power," said Daniel Kenny, director of brand marketing for Bosch home appliances. "Bosch is committed to delivering high-quality, sleek appliances that exceed customer expectations."

Bosch is the first appliance manufacturer to be recognized in the newly created cooktop category, as part of J.D. Power's Kitchen Appliance Satisfaction Study. The complete line of Bosch cooktops meets the needs of every kitchen, offering gas, induction and electric models. Bosch induction and electric cooktops feature AutoChef, which maintains exact cooking temperature for consistent results, while the Bosch gas cooktop features a 20,000 BTU dual-stacked center burner for the flexibility to cook on high heat or simmer. While all three cooktop variations are available in 30"and 36" configurations, the gas and electric cooktops are also part of the Bosch 24" compact kitchen, which brings modern design to small and ancillary spaces.

The Bosch dishwasher line includes an array of design styles to match a variety of kitchens. As the quietest dishwasher brand in the U.S.*, Bosch utilizes the latest sound reduction technologies, allowing homeowners to run their dishwasher without disrupting other activities in the home. Additionally, each Bosch dishwasher is confirmed by 485 quality check points before leaving the factory.

Bosch dishwashers have led the industry since the company's 1991 introduction in the U.S. In addition, this is the fifth time Bosch dishwashers have received J.D. Power awards, while the specific recognition for Bosch cooktops also showcases brand's leadership in customer satisfaction with cooktops.
