Boughton Law's Lorraine Burchynsky Elected President of the British Columbia Legal Management Association

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 22, 2016) - Boughton Law is proud to announce that Lorraine Burchynsky, Administration Manager at the Vancouver-based law firm, has been elected as the 2016-17 President of the British Columbia Legal Management Association (BCLMA).

The BCLMA is a non-profit organization with more than 400 affiliates representing over 140 member firms in British Columbia. As the largest organization in the province dedicated to providing professional development, support and networking opportunities, the BCLMA endeavours to enhance the competence and professionalism of legal services management provided by individuals of the organization within the legal community of British Columbia.

The BCLMA hosts important educational events, biannual conferences, discussions and monthly meetings, publishes a quarterly newsletter, coordinates a mentorship program, and produces a number of critical financial benchmark surveys each year for the legal management community.

Ms. Burchynsky has been with Boughton Law for the past three decades. As the Administration Manager, she manages the team in Office Services, Central Records and Reception and oversees all facilities related operations and projects. Alongside her involvement in BCLMA, she is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and The Legal Office Management Association.
