Bourdeau elected to GROWMARK Board of Directors

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2007) - Denis Bourdeau, Embrun, Ont., was elected to the GROWMARK board of directors at the regional cooperative's Annual Meeting in Chicago on Aug. 30th.

Bourdeau will serve a three-year term to represent Zone F on the board. He has served on the boards and advisory committees of several cooperative organizations, and is past president of La Co-operative Agricole d'Embrun. In 2006, he earned the On Co-op Lifetime Achievement Spirit award. He and his wife Helene own a fifth-generation family farm.

Six of the 16 director seats on the GROWMARK board, established by geographic zone, were up for election. GROWMARK has six established governance zones which cover all of North America. In addition, one director-at-large represents Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin Farm Bureaus. GROWMARK is affiliated with Farm Bureau in those states.

GROWMARK is a regional cooperative providing agriculture-related products and services and grain marketing in the Midwest.
