CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 24, 2011) - It's a new day at a long-time Calgary business. BOWEN Workforce Solutions is unveiling a new logo, a new office location and jumping into the social media world. The workforce solutions company is experiencing tremendous growth, and changing its look and location, while amplifying its marketing and community investment efforts. Everyone is invited to stop by in person or on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

"BOWEN has been part of Calgary's staffing industry since 1974," says Ken Vinge, Vice President Corporate Development for BOWEN. "While we are very proud of our 37-history, we are also keen to be regarded as the leader in our industry."

That leadership starts with a new visual identity. The company is unveiling a new logo, designed by Tag Advertising, with the tag line "Bright people. Bright futures."

Vinge says, "Our new logo builds on our proud history yet emphasizes that we are first and foremost in a people business. Our new location and social media presence are a chance to connect or re-connect with the huge number of people that have been touched by BOWEN over the years."

As BOWEN increases its online efforts, launching Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts this week, it is also focusing more on giving back to the Calgary community. BOWEN is increasing its community focus with the launch of a formal community investment program and its sponsorship of Calgary's Twestival on March 24, 2011.

"Twestival is a perfect fit for BOWEN. Not only is it a great, fun event, but it will also raise money for Making Changes, an organization that empowers women by providing knowledge and a selection of work attire for their transition into the workplace," adds Vinge.

Twestival is on March 24th at Firewater (222 – 7th Street S.W.), and tickets can be purchased online at http://calgary.twestival.com/ for $15.
