Bowling Challenge to Benefit Orphans

The Orphan Foundation Announces Its 1st Annual New England "Best Ball" Bowling Challenge

AGAWAM, MA--(Marketwire - February 23, 2011) - If you're looking for a fun team-building event, and you also want to support a good cause, the 1st Annual New England "Best Ball" Challenge may be "right up your alley." This unique bowling event will benefit The Orphan Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit that helps adopting families rescue orphans and foster children.

The "best ball" bowling format makes it easy for everyone on your team to participate, so no handicaps are needed. If one of your team members throws a strike, that's the team's "best ball" for that frame. But don't worry if your team can't roll strikes. There will also be prizes for the lowest team scores, as well as plenty of food to keep your energy up and your spirits high.

"We need your participation as a bowler, a team cheerleader, a sponsor, or as a provider of silent auction prizes to make this fun event an overwhelming success," said Joe DiDonato, Co-Founder of the foundation. "We're hoping to provide grants to as many as 10 families as a result of this one event." Dr. Tatiana DiDonato, the other co-founder, added, "We're all working around the clock to help these wonderful families make a difference in the lives of so many children."

If you want to compete, contribute or be a visible sponsor of this fun event, please go to www.TheOrphanFoundation.org/bowling.htm to register your team. The fee is $25 per person for the bowlers and includes the bowling, pizza, drinks, and shoes. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 21st, at the Bradley Bowl in Windsor Locks, CT -- right across from the Bradley International Airport. For more information on participating or sponsorships, please call (805) 823-3552 or go online to see more details.
