Bradford Networks Appoints Dan Haley as CEO

Chief Executive Brings More Than 30 Years of Software and Business Experience to Network Security Leader

CONCORD, NH--(Marketwire - Jun 20, 2011) - Bradford Networks, the best choice for network security in evolving IT environments, today announced the appointment of Dan Haley to chief executive officer (CEO). In this role, Haley will act as the company's chief strategist and visionary, overseeing the day-to-day management of the rapidly growing business.

Haley comes to Bradford Networks with more than 30 years of operating and international business experience with several software companies. During his career, Haley had helped these firms successfully navigate through and leverage major market shifts to their best advantage. A former venture capitalist, he also has deep experience in financing events, including initial public offerings, acquisitions, mergers and fundraising.

"Organizations across the globe face an increasingly aggressive threat landscape, leading to a high demand for network security solutions like Bradford's," said Bradford Networks board member Carter Griffin, partner at Updata Partners. "The company has achieved record revenues in each of the last two fiscal years, and has made significant inroads into the enterprise and healthcare markets. Dan will play an integral role in our continued expansion, guiding Bradford as it develops even stronger security offerings that address evolving security challenges. He brings all the essential elements to our operation as we enter the next stage in our development -- we're excited to have him on board."

Prior to joining Bradford Networks, Haley spent six years as the chief executive officer of BEZ Systems, a database analytics and management software company that was acquired by the Gomez Division of Compuware in late 2010. During his tenure at BEZ, Haley played a key role in increasing the company's global customer base to more than 200 and raised $10 million in venture capital funding. Previously, Haley was the CEO of Astrum Software, where he reshaped the company's product offerings and positioning in the market, directly leading to the sale of the company. In addition, Haley has held senior-level business development and financial positions at leading software, venture capital and consulting companies including Advent International, Digital Equipment Corporation, Precise Software Solutions and Xchange.

"Trends such as the Consumerization of IT are creating new security concerns -- which in turn create new opportunities for Bradford," said Haley. "Bradford has an exceptionally strong team and a solid, dedicated customer base, and the company continues to deliver the most trusted and proven technology in the industry. I'm excited to help Bradford capitalize on growing global opportunities to build its presence and momentum in the network security space."
