BrainTrack Announces Business Schools Scholarship Winners for Fall 2009

Entrants Share Advice and Experiences With Prospective Business Students


MARLBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - January 12, 2010) - BrainTrack, a widely referenced higher-education resource, today announced the Fall 2009 winners for its BrainTrack Business Schools Scholarship (http://www.braintrack.com/colleges-by-career/general-managers#scholarship), a twice yearly scholarship for business degree students that is designed to help future students. The winners are Coral Dickerson of Shasta College in Redding, CA, who received the $1,000 first-place award, and Laura Thompson of Eastern Oregon University in LeGrande, OR, who received a $500 second-place award.

Her winning essay addressed obstacles that previously interfered with achieving her goals and encouraged future students to never give up on their dreams.

BrainTrack Business Schools Scholarship runner up Laura Thompson has completed two years towards her Bachelor in Business Administration from Eastern Oregon University. In her essay, she recommended that future business students decide what's important to them and then find a program that supports their goals.

About BrainTrack's Business Schools Scholarships for 2010

The Spring 2010 entry deadline for BrainTrack's ongoing Business Schools Scholarship is March 1, 2010 and the Fall 2010 deadline is November 1, 2010. The scholarship asks entrants to respond to essay questions that are geared toward helping others evaluate business as a potential career path. BrainTrack publishes a selection of those essays which prove most helpful to future students.

The scholarship is open to current students with at least one semester of credits towards graduation with an appropriate degree in business. Studies can be full-time, part-time, on-campus, or online and must be at an accredited US college. There are no fees for entry and all entrant names and contact information will be kept private for use only in the scholarship, except for the winners whose names will be published.
