Bralorne Gold Mines Ltd.: Surface Drilling Further Identifies BK-3 With More High Grade Results of 140.46 g/T Gold Over 0.6 Meters

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 10, 2010) - Bralorne Gold Mines Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BPM)(PINK SHEETS:BPMSF)(BERLIN:GV7)(FRANKFURT:GV7)(WKN:A0B75M) is pleased to report results from on-going exploration at the Bralorne-Pioneer Mine property, B.C.

Surface Exploration

Surface diamond drilling intersected high grade gold mineralization on the upper BK vein as previously reported (see news release dated Sept 23). The best intercept was in hole 169 which assayed 140.46 g/T gold (4.096 oz/ton) over 0.6 meters. Significant assay results are summarized in Table 1 below.

The results indicate a new zone that is potentially three times bigger than the BK zone currently being mined. The new zone extends at least 170 meters (550 feet) above the 800 level, is 38 to 130 meters (125- 425 feet) in strike length, and is open to the west and upwards. The upper portion of the zone has an average grade of 14.3 g/T gold (0.418 oz/ton) at a minimum mining width of 1.2 meters (4ft), whereas the lower potion averages 5.7 g/T gold (0.167 oz/ton). Overall, the vein averages 17.6 g/T gold (0.512 oz/ton) over 0.7 meters (2.3 ft). The zone could be accessed from the BK decline that was started in 2009.

Cautionary Note: The company considers all intercepts assaying 0.1 oz/ton Au or greater as significant, but cautions that these intercept data are preliminary in nature and not conclusive evidence of the likelihood of the occurrence of an economic mineral deposit.

All holes were drilled at NQ size and the core was split for sample collection. One half of the core was sent for analysis at Eco Tech Laboratory Ltd. at Kamloops BC. Gold concentration was determined by the fire assay method using a 1 assay ton charge. Quartz veins were assayed by the metallics method. QA/QC was monitored by inclusion of reference standards and blank samples at a frequency of 10%, and repeat analyses on selected pulps.

Underground Exploration - BK VEIN

Trial mining of the vein continued through October with shrinkage stoping of the vein above the 800 level. A total of 10 lifts of 1.8 meter height have been blasted to date. Assay results for the stope as of October 31 averaged 25.9 g/T gold (0.755 oz/ton) over 0.5 meters (1.1 ft) for the vein, with individual assay results ranging up to 5906.8 g/T gold (172.3 oz/ton) over a width of 0.4 meters (1.4 ft). Over the full mining width the average grade was 7.1 g/T gold (0.208 oz/ton) over 1.5 meters (5.0 ft.

Underground Exploration - North VEIN

Results so far indicate an average grade of 47.3 g/T gold (1.38 oz/ton) over an average width of 0.2 meters (0.5 ft) for the vein, or 3.8 g/T gold (0.11 oz/ton) over 1.6 meters (5.3 ft) for the development width. Individual assays range up to 277.3 g/T gold (8.088 oz/ton) over a vein width of 0.5 meters (1.6 ft). Slot development for trial mining by modified room and pillar method is underway. So far, a total of 2900 tons grading 13.3 g/T gold (0.388 oz/ton) has been extracted the North vein and stockpiled at surface.

Proposed Mill Start-up

The Company is planning to re-start its gold mill and made application in August of this year to the Ministry of Environment (MOE) to re-activate its discharge permit. The MOE responded in mid-October, notifying the company that Public consultation, First Nations engagement, and technical matters need to be addressed in order to complete the application that originally commenced in 2004. Since this process involves a mandatory 30-day notification period and time for all issues to be addressed, the Company has been forced to postpone its planned start-up for the mill until the review is completed and the permit can be issued.
