Branchfire Releases Complete Redesign of iAnnotate Good Dynamics Edition

Enterprise Edition of Award-Winning Annotation App Built on the Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform Gets Major Update; Offers More Features, File Formats Including: .DOC, .PPT Support

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Apr 29, 2014) - Branchfire, Inc. today released an updated version of its iAnnotate app for Good Technology™ enterprise mobility users, now available on the Good Dynamics Marketplace. Like the flagship consumer version, iAnnotate Good Dynamics Edition v3.0.3 has been completely redesigned for iOS 7. In addition to the new streamlined look and user interface, this release contains powerful new features that allow business users to embrace the flexibility of a consumer app without sacrificing the security offered by Good's industry-leading containerization technology. As document access and editing have proven to be the most sought-after app categories across Good's independent software vendor (ISV) ecosystem, the combination of iAnnotate's innovative features built on Good's industry-leading secure mobility platform is meeting a significant need for joint customers.

"We are incredibly excited to bring iAnnotate's latest innovations and features to our Good customers," said Talha F. Basit, VP of Product at Branchfire. "With an updated user experience and great new features like .DOC and .PPT support, this is our best release yet."

With the v3.0.3 update, iAnnotate Good Dynamics Edition now includes these new features:

  • .DOC, .PPT, and Image File Support-enterprise users are no longer limited to just PDFs. Word, PowerPoint, and common-format image files can now be imported into the app and converted to PDF.
  • Wrist Guard-annotation tools like the pencil and highlighter now include an adjustable wrist guard option to help prevent stray marks, and make writing on the iPad more comfortable.
  • Page Rearranging-users can now change the order of pages in a PDF on the go.

Data protection is facilitated through iAnnotate's built-in "Send to GFE" command, which allows users to send documents to coworkers via the Good for Enterprise® messaging client. In addition, FIPS-certified crypto libraries secure sensitive data while people work on documents within iAnnotate. Connectivity to sources like third-party cloud storage, WebDAV and standard e-mail are disabled for added security.

"iAnnotate Good Dynamics Edition has consistently been one of the top productivity apps leveraged by Good customers, especially across verticals such as legal, accounting and finance that require a highly-secure framework combined with seamless document access and editing capabilities," said Matt Sturges, VP of Good Dynamics at Good Technology.
