Brand2Global: The Global Marketing Conference Call for Papers Closes 16 March, 2015

Through 16 March, Brand2Global Is Seeking Presentation Proposals That Address the Challenges Facing Marketers in the Areas of Global Marketing, Global Branding, and Global Digital Media Management


LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Jan 20, 2015) - Brand2Global Conference announces the opening of a Call For Papers seeking presentation proposals for the 2015 event, to be held 29 September - 1 October in London. Submissions received are reviewed by and acceptance decisions determined by the Brand2Global Program Advisory Board. Speakers that are selected receive free admission to the conference on the day of their session or 50% off a two-day registration.

The 2014 Brand2Global Conference in London featured speakers from leading global brands including Google, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Volvo, SAP, LEGO, Telefonica, Nike, KLM, Nielsen and others. Representatives from major international business schools/universities also spoke at the event, which served to bring together both industry experts and thought leaders at the crossroads of cutting-edge topics in the global marketing space.

Brand2Global also opened a 2015 Academic Call For Papers, which is open to business professors from around the world. Brand2Global considers practitioner-oriented research as well theoretical and empirical research following the theme of "Leveraging Academic Thought Leadership & Industry Expertise, For Cutting Edge Global Marketing & Digital Media Strategies." Research authors may submit a structured abstract for a potential presentation during the Brand2Global Academic Conference. The Brand2Global Webinar Series is returning on Wednesday, 11 February. Paige Williams and Michelle Privat Obermeyer of Microsoft will discuss Microsoft's new Center of Excellence called Global Readiness. The presentation will describe the building blocks for the CoE and share how the corporate marketing team at Microsoft puts these principles to practice when vetting local campaigns for brand and global readiness. It will also highlight experiences and lessons learned that help Microsoft to build, localize, and release meaningful international user experiences.
