Branded Ethanol Product

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 5, 2006 -- Southridge Enterprises, Inc. (OTCBB: SORD) ("Southridge" or the "Company") announced today that it will market an 85% pure ethanol product as "SR85™" and it is in the process of acquiring intellectual property protection. Management believes that such a trademark will benefit Southridge by providing distinct brand recognition at a time when many automobile manufacturers are announcing plans to produce a new generation of vehicles which will run on E85, or 85% pure ethanol. Southridge Ethanol, Inc. is developing a national marketing campaign that will be launched once its trademark is approved.

Alex Smid, President of Southridge Enterprises, Inc., stated that "By developing our marketing plan now in anticipation of the significant future growth of the alternative energy market, we will establish a distinct consumer awareness that might otherwise be unavailable to us as a traditional producer of ethanol products."
