Bratz™ Nabs Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Original Song for a Children's Animated Show

SANTA MONICA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 15, 2007 -- The nominees for the Children's Programming Emmy Awards, recently announced by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, include "So Good" from "Bratz Rock Angelz" (Hip-O/UMe) for Outstanding Original Song from a Children's Animated Show. The song "So Good" was written by Andreas Carlsson, Jorgen Elofsson and Ally Thompson, the team whose credits include Britney Spears' "(You Drive Me) Crazy," *NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" and recordings by Backstreet Boys, Hilary Duff, and many others.

"Bratz Rock Angelz," the first of a series of CDs released by Hip-O/UMe, was based on the widely popular toy line from MGA Entertainment. "Bratz Rock Angelz" debuted in Billboard's Top 100 in 2005, where it remained for several months. It also hit #1 on the Billboard Kids Audio Chart and became one of the year's 100 best-selling albums.
