Brazil Dominates's South America's Rising Stars Report

Cities Across Brazil Show Big Jumps in Popularity

The list ranks the 50 most frequently searched destinations in South America at according to their change in popularity over 2009.

Brazil owns the list with over 20 cities rising in popularity in 2010. Brazil's Cuiaba and Iguassu Falls made the top five cities that experienced the biggest rise in popularity from 2009 to 2010. Brazil also was the number one country to show an increase in popularity in sister site's South America's Rising Stars Report. Montevideo, Uruguay, is also a new favorite with Canadians and Americans alike. The coastal city, which is capital of Uruguay, landed in the top five on both lists.
