MANHEIM, PA--(Marketwire - Feb 27, 2012) - Brazil's brisk pace of economic growth is lifting expectations for new success in the industrial hoist arena for KITO Corporation of Japan. Brazil now boasts they have the second largest industrial sector in the Americas with 28.5% of GDP. KITO DO BRASIL is the immediate expansion that KITO is launching this month.

The growing diversity of industries range from automobiles, steel, petrochemicals, aircraft and consumer goods. The recent expansion by KITO into the Brazilian market place articulates their emerging philosophy that KITO is changing from a company that moves products, to a company that shapes eras.

One year ago KITO assigned much of the South American market to their subsidiary, Harrington Hoists, Inc. and this shift in service has resulted in great success. Additionally, Chile is scheduled to come on line in the month of April 2012 for Harrington. KITO's leadership role in the theatre of international lifting solutions is a reflection on their philosophy of uniting people and technology under the umbrella of total client satisfaction.

In a recent interview on WVSN Reports, Ned Hunter, CEO of Harrington Hoists, Inc. and Executive Officer of KITO Corporation of Japan, discussed the boom in Brazilian industry. "Where there is building there is lifting," said Hunter. "Contrary to what you read in newspapers, the market for material handling lifting solutions has remained strong and accelerating in many of our global markets. Some of that growth was unexpected, so it keeps us on our toes with the new demand. Right now, Brazilian industry is in a boom cycle that is expected to launch their economy into the top 5 of the world within the next decade. The diverse nature of their economy has prompted tremendous industrial growth, and it's the kind of growth that is excellent for our products."

"Brazil has had a surge in harvesting their vast natural resources which has spawned lots of manufacturing: it's this kind of industrial climate that creates a perfect scenario for safe, high quality lifting solutions that KITO offers. KITO DO BRASIL is our latest effort to unite all of South America with KITO services. We are excited about the new relationships we are building because we know our applications can suit any demand. KITO DO BRASIL is another venture where we can offer a wide variety of assured products and consulting that expand the workplace in every direction."
