The Brazilian Confectionery Industry Will Be Taking New, as Well as Typical Brazilian Products to the Biggest Fairs in the Sector This Semester

SAO PAULO, BRAZIL--(Marketwired - Sep 8, 2015) - With the arrival of the second semester in 2015, the Brazilian confectionery industry is getting ready to take part in the most important trade fairs that take place at this time of the year. Anuga in Cologne, Germany, and Sweets&Snacks Middle East, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, are two of the fairs that await participation from the famous green and yellow.

Anuga, which takes place between 10th and 14th of October, and is considered to be the largest food and beverages fair, will receive important Brazilian companies such as Aladim, Docile, Jazam, Peccin, Vonpar, Garoto, Toffano and Prodasa. In addition to typical products, some manufacturers will present new products that are already a success amongst Brazilians. For example, Garoto will take the chocolate Talento White filled with milk caramel, which was recently launched in Brazil, and Prodasa, which has united the taste and benefits of lemongrass with the quality and recipes of their candy.

"Prodasa will take their line of candies, lollipops and also some items from their biscuit line to Anuga and to Sweets&Snacks Middle East. Among the novelties expected to be presented are the lemongrass candy and peanut crunch, which are already a success in the Brazilian market. Now we will present these to the international market as they offer some distinctive features and typical Brazilian flavors", comments Cleber Vorussi, Marketing and Export Manager at Prodasa.

From chocolate to nuts, to candy, gums and lollipops, Brazilian companies such as Aladim, Docile, Dori, Montevérgine, Jazam, Peccin, Riclan, Simas and Toffano, are promising to fill the Sweets&Snacks Middle East fair between 27th and 29th October, with the very best from the Brazilian market.

"Our focus for this fair is our Torrone with Peanut product line, which receives special packaging for exportation with the name NOUGAT BAR. In addition to this, we will also present cereal bars and our Wafer rolls ('Tub-in' brand)", comments João Ricardo, Export Manager at Montevérgine, who intend to grow exports by 30% in 2015, targeting markets such as the United Arab Emirates and North Africa.
