Brian Urie Receives Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist(R) Designation

WEST JORDAN, UT--(Marketwired - February 09, 2016) -  Local Financial Advisor, Brian Urie, LPL Financial, has earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠ (CRPS®) designation. To receive the designation, Urie completed an educational program and exam covering best practices for establishing an efficient retirement plan and ensuring regular compliance with plan rules.

"The CRPS® designation is well-respected in the financial services field," said Urie. "I felt it was important to pursue this designation. With the more than 10,000 licensed financial professionals in Utah alone, it helps clients understand I have been specifically trained in how to help them."

Urie is a LPL Financial Advisor at Mountain America Credit Union covering members and branches in five states. He has been helping clients pursue their financial goals for 17 years.

The CRPS® designation is awarded by the College for Financial Planning, Denver, Colorado. CRPS® designees must pass an initial training program on how to design, install, and administer retirement plans for the business community, and must complete continuing education requirements to maintain their designation. In addition, all CRPS® designees make a pledge to uphold the college's code of ethics. To find out more about the CRPS® designation, visit http://www.cffpdesignations.com/Designation/CRPS.
