Bridge Bank Recognized as an Exceptional Bank by The Findley Reports

Bridge Bank Is One of 11 California Banks to Receive This Designation

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - May 9, 2013) - Bridge Capital Holdings (NASDAQ: BBNK), whose subsidiary is Bridge Bank, a full-service professional business bank headquartered in Silicon Valley and with offices located nationwide, announced today that they have been designated an "Exceptional Bank for 2012" by The Findley Reports. The Findley Reports, a highly regarded consulting and reporting firm for the financial industry, has been recognizing the performance of California banking institutions for over 40 years.

The Findley Reports recognized 11 California banks as exceptional. In addition to financial performance, four basic traits were considered for this recognition: stability of board and management, organizational health, balance within the balance sheet with core earnings and control of the risk profile of the organization, and strong partner relationships with customers, shareholders, regulators, and industry. The 11 exceptional banks range from $151 million to $6 billion in asset size.

According to The Findley Reports, "The culture of Bridge is based upon a concept of being a 'different breed of banker,' offering flexibility and customized solutions to small and mid-market businesses operating in its markets, along with its entrepreneurial spirit that connects it to its clients. It focuses on being relevant to its clients and competitive."

"Our success since our launch in 2001 has been achieved primarily on the model of being a true and uniquely capable business bank operating in the community banking space," said Daniel P. Myers, president and chief executive officer of Bridge Bank and Bridge Capital Holdings. "Additionally, through the pursuit of our differentiated business banking strategy, we are able to bring enormous value to small and mid-market companies that are seeking a relationship-focused experience combined with a broad range of flexible financial solutions."
