BridgeSTOR Announces Coronado(TM) NAS Gateway Preview

Making Cloud Storage Available for All Companies

POWAY, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 20, 2013) - BridgeSTOR, LLC, the company making cloud storage accessible, today announced a preview of its Coronado™ NAS Gateway; BridgeSTOR's solution for making cloud storage look and feel like Network Attached Storage (NAS). Delivered as a Virtual Machine (VM), Coronado easily integrates with your existing VMware or Hyper-V environment and provides seamless access to cloud storage such as Amazon S3 through an industry standard CIFS or NFS interface. Utilizing BridgeSTOR's Cloud Storage File System (CSFS), Coronado empowers users to take advantage of secure cloud storage while achieving capacity savings through deduplication and compression.

Coronado ensures cloud security by adding Authentication and Encryption at the client location making sure all data is secure during transmission and while at rest in the cloud. Authentication is done with Microsoft Active Directory, allowing administrators to secure data access by users and groups in the same way as they do for locally stored data. The other all-important ingredient, Encryption, is solved by BridgeSTOR's ProtectedCloud™ Security which combines AES-256 bit encryption plus XTS block-based encryption, producing two unique keys for industrial strength encryption.

In addition to strong security, Coronado offers enterprise customers the option of a Global File System, allowing multiple locations to instantly share cloud storage from anywhere on the planet.

"BridgeSTOR has been working on CSFS for over two years. This is a well researched and exciting technology solving all the major concerns our customers have asked us to solve for Cloud Storage said John Matze, CEO, BridgeSTOR. "Basically it's an F: drive to the cloud with capacity and performance optimized to make it ideal for unstructured data, backup data or archive and designed around a reasonable monthly fee."

The BridgeSTOR goal is to help you simplify working with Cloud Storage providers like Amazon by being a "one stop shop". Coronado NAS Gateway pricing is based on an OPEX model with a flat monthly per gigabyte tiered pricing model that includes software, support, and Amazon storage fees, making it simple to budget your cloud storage.

BridgeSTOR is offering its preview customers 50% off all fees for the first year.
