Brighton College Announces Partnership with Microsoft IT Academy

Brighton College, a British Columbia based vocational school and career college, has recently announced its partnership with Microsoft IT Academy.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 15, 2013) - Brighton College, a reputable Vancouver-based career college, officially announced its partnership with the Microsoft IT Academy. The college will be offering preparatory courses for the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Server (MCSE) Infrastructure certification exams.

As of September 2013, the program's curriculum will include experiential lectures, instructor-led classes and workshops facilitated by specialized industry experts. All of Brighton College's network administration instructors have relevant industry-related designations and are Microsoft Certified Trainer's (MCT's) with a minimum of 5 years experience within the industry.

Benefits of Brighton College's program include MS certified trainers, a Microsoft designed curriculum, labs as per Microsoft standards and heavily discounted Microsoft exams. Certification through the Microsoft IT Academy is administered through Microsoft, however students interested in pursuing certification can make arrangements through Brighton College's Student Service's department.

The preparatory courses will be included in the college's current successful 32 week Network Administration Specialist Diploma program. The network administrator training program includes a practicum which can be taken at one of many various small and mid-sized firms throughout the lower mainland. In addition to the Microsoft-related courses, the program consists of CompTIA A+ Essentials, CompTIA Network +, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), and CompTIA Security +. Program graduation requires the successful completion of all courses including 4 weeks of practicum.

Brighton College offers three information technology programs: a 32 week Network Administration Specialist Diploma program, a 16 week Network Administration Certificate, and a 36 week Internet Marketing Diploma program. All information technology programs either include as a requirement or offer a 4 week practicum.

Brighton College is currently accepting applications for all information technology programs, including the Network Administration Specialist Diploma program. For more information on the Network Admin programs or the Microsoft IT Academy partnership, call 604-430-5608 or visit BrightonCollege.com.
